Inspiration Board

I apologize for not posting anything about how the wedding is going to look or any ideas up until now. Once Will and I signed the contract for our venue we didn't really need to do anything. It covered pretty much everything: venue, catering, cake, flowers, centerpieces, beverages, and DJ. I didn't have to worry about finding who to use for those things, so I didn't have to worry about what they will look like. However, now, I'm fully ready to start sharing my ideas with you! Our venue is the Conservatory at Waterstone in downtown Acworth and absolutely beautiful, and absolutely not what I had envisioned. I created an "inspiration board" to give you an idea of what I'm thinking for the wedding!

2011!!!

I'm pretty excited about it being 2011. Mainly because I'M GETTING MARRIED THIS YEAR!!! It will definitely be full of changes. Getting married (obviously), moving in together, and possibly a new job or a better situation at my current one (things are moving that way!)-just to name a few. Being a new year and an important year, I figured I might make new year's resolutions. I normally don't for a few reasons. 1) They're cliche. 2) I don't want the burden of keeping up with them :) 3) No one really ever succeeds (I remember one friend vowed to run everday and did such a good job for the longest time, then she skipped a day for whatever reason, it was a good one too, and she was devastated! I don't want to let my self down even if it is a really good reason like hers was.) 4) I will probably forget them. I have a few times.

This year, I'm going to change my anti-new year's resulotion (lazy) stance. So here are my resolutions for 2011 (They are on here, easily accessible, and can never be misplaced so my number two and four reason for not doing them is thrown out the window!)

1) Work really hard on getting my photography business going. There's no excuse! Website, you're first!
2) Be healthy (So there's my number 1 reason why I don't like them, but in my defense, I already posted about it before the new year!)
3) Cook more/Learn to be a better cook/Expand my 3 recipe dinner menu
4) Read more
5) Be up to date on the news more....maybe politics too, but I don't want to push it. (This is where number 3 comes into play. I may not succeed with this one, but I won't be too disappointed if it doesn't happen.)
6) Save my money better than I have been

So there it is....my list of new year's resolutions. What are yours??
